Every once in a while I come to a point where I just become tired of blogging. I don't know whether you every feel the same, but for me this seems to happen every couple of months. Like most of you I work with computers on a daily basis. This wouldn't be so bad, but I also browse the web exhaustively in the evenings too, and its altogether got me feeling quite fed up of observing the world through a computer screen.
Hopefully this is all set to change though. You see following several carpet-fitting disasters over the past week, and almost 2 months of decorating, our living room may actually be finished in a couple of days (though I'm not going to jinx this by holding my breath).
I'll put some photos online when I find my camera cord.
The room is mostly a shade of very light brown all over. It's easy on the eye (and thankfully the wallet too) and is beginning to feel like home :). As an added bonus I might just be able to unpack my Xbox when all this is done. That should give me a cracking excuse to dig myself in deeper by moving from one screen straight to another. Ah, the joy of modern technology ;)

Man, I definitely have many days where the last thing I want to do is blog. I have basically given myself roughly 6 months to see how the site's traffic improves from blogging on a near-daily basis. If it's not where I'd hope it would be, I'm going to tone it down.

I feel your pain! It's easy to get a short-term burn out being on a cpu screen all day long and night.
That's why for me, this past week I've taken a break from my cpu outside of work and rekindled my relationship with my couch and xbox!
As far as blogging, since I run write on 2 blogs, sometimes 3, I try to pace myself with my design blog by only writing once a week, and staying consistent. I like having my personal blog as a separate one.

@PJ: Hope the effort towards your traffic is working well for you mate - I dont see why it wouldnt be, as you're a great writer and in the same stroke have good traffic flow boosts by your articles on sanscons and DRAG design etc :)
@John: Keeping design related blogs seperate from personal blogs is actually a pretty good idea, as your content is more focused and relative. I can certainly relate to that xbox love - mine'll be especially sweet once my new leather recliner is delivered. Heaven, at last ;)
